
Innovative products, industry leading colour tools and optimal business solutions that increase bodyshop efficiency - these are the three pillars on which the Nexa Autocolor Roadshow meeting in Saudi Arabia was based.
Jeddah, one of Saudi Arabia main cities, provided the location for the event, which was held Nexa Autocolor hosted the roadshow in collaboration with its longstanding Saudi partner, Colors company for paints, which since its foundation in 1990 by Kamel Al Qudsi' is one of the region's leading providers of paints for the automotive industry.
Diplomats, automobile businesses, bodyshop owners and managers throughout the country were among the guests joining Nexa Autocolor's Middle East team and Colors company for paints.
After a warm welcome by Hamza Pallialil, General Manager of Colors company for paints, the Roadshow began with a presentation by Bulend Alpay, Market Director for the Middle East and Turkey, addressing the main areas of action within the region.
Secondly, Alberto Gonzalez, EMEA Business Solutions Manager, gave a speech introducing PPG Industries and its different business units. He highlighted PPG's expertise in the OEM automotive business as an important source of knowledge for the refinish industry, where Nexa Autocolor brand plays a key role. This brand stands out for its constant process of improvement and innovative range of refinish solutions.
Next, Serdar Gurses, Business Solutions and Technical Manager for Turkey and the Middle east, demonstrated the latest development currently gaining strength within the region: waterborne products and colour tools such as Rapid Match.
Later on, Alberto Gonzalez discussed how the PPG MVP Business Solutions programme helps bodyshops to improve their profitability. "The aim of PPG is to help our customers as much as possible by providing tools and services to increase their global profitability, but always aligned with the real marked needs," he stated.
Finally, as a key outcome of the conference, some insights about Nexa Autocolor Academy were shared. The Academy consists on a training plan for management boards and head of production that comprises different topics: KPI's, financial and paintshop throughput management, as well as lean methodology.
